Cover Reveal : The Darkness in Dreams

I’m very excited to reveal the fabulous cover for The Darkness In Dreams.  The tentative release date is March, and once it is finalized I will let you know!

I’m posting the first draft of the blurb ~ They are actually very hard to write! I’d rather rework my first chapter for the 100th time. I know it can be improved, so please leave your comments on how I can intrigue you.

TWO LOVERS WHO COME TOGETHER LIFETIME AFTER LIFETIME, TIED THROUGH ANCIENT MAGIC, WHO MUST FACE EACH OTHER BEFORE FACING AN ENEMY THEY CAN’T AVOID.

Sometimes there were tragedies that never should have happened but did.  Agreements made for good reasons with devastating results. ~ Quoted from the Immortal Calata member known as Three

Two lost souls, a human woman fiercely independent, and an immortal alpha male possessing dark power, who are offered a second chance. An epic love story of past lives and forbidden love, racing from the Pacific Northwest to the dangerous, memory-filled city of Florence, Italy, and a villa with a garden where love was found and then lost…

Galaxy North knew her life was lonely, but it was safe. Until the dreams began, followed by the countless mysteries she couldn’t explain. The memories felt too familiar, but Lexi refused to believe the dreams reflected her past lives—until her therapist orchestrates an abduction, and she is forced to confront the dangerous lover who knows too much and hasn’t forgiven her for the past.

Christan is an immortal Enforcer, created for a single purpose. He was the terror in the dark, the icy wind before the warm rush. He was ruled by the Calata of Six, although once there had been seven, and enemies feared him. Friends did, too. But she, she changed him, rescued him. Taught him how to be more. How to feel. How to love. In that first life, in the lifetimes after, until all she had left to teach him was hate.

Christan has sworn that he will ever need her again—but then he’s forced from his exile to confront the rising danger from a common enemy. Lexi must accept the impossible, and Christan must learn once again what it means to be human if they are ever going reclaim the love they  have been finding and losing in endless lifetimes.

The Darkness in Dreams is the first in an sizzling new paranormal series filled with action-filled romance. While it is a stand alone story, it is also the first in Christan’s Trilogy and the introduction to the Past life-Immortal Warriors series. A Calata Novel. Adult language and sensuality.

Praise for The Darkness in Dreams

“I really enjoyed the read…I think you’re a talented writer and storyteller and you have so many genuinely fresh and original ideas. This was as absolute pleasure to work on.” Melissa F. developmental editor.
“…an amazing series…what I loved best was seeing the past lifetimes and how they influenced the characters in the present.” ~ Paige, beta reader
“The whole premise and foundation of the story is great…” ~ Kristen, beta reader
“She (Lexi) reminds me a lot of myself. It’s a great thing for a story, but it can be scary to be reminded of your own flaws by a work of fiction. I still love the book, though. I wouldn’t change anything about the heroine in the story!” ~ Brittany, beta reader.

Sue Wilder lives in the Pacific Northwest. She first discovered the power of story as a child living in California, when she was caught starting a grapefruit war in a neighboring orchard. Through an imaginative explanation, she managed to absolve all her cohorts from guilt, and has since moderated her behavior. She now writes romantic paranormal fiction for a more mature adult audience.
